News Update: November 9, 2023
G3CT has selected Schwing Technologies (Schwing) (https://www.schwing-technologies.com/en/), an international equipment manufacturer with headquarters in Germany and USA presence, for designing, manufacturing, and installing of G3C Systems’ equipment at the future G3CT’s customer’s locations. Schwing reactors are uniquely qualified to implement the patented G3C method for upgrading recovered Carbon Black (rCB) into high-grade reinforcing rCB.
In September 2023 G3CT tested a Small-Scale Schwing Pilot for implementing the G3C method. The follow up testing of colloidal properties of the produced rCB samples, as well as testing of rubber made from these samples, have confirmed that Schwing reactors are capable of implementing patented G3C method and produce rCB of the quality comparable to rCB produced using G3CT’s R&D reactor.
Schwing has nearly 50-year experience of designing and building such reactors. Collaboration with Schwing significantly reduces G3CT risks associated with commercial system scaleup.
